The Ragigudda Metro Station is the second station from RV Road on the upcoming yellow line of the Namma Metro. Currently under construction it is set to open its doors by the end of 2024. This elevated station is part of the North-South Corridor, promising to link you seamlessly to your destinations.Located in between Jayanagar 9th Block & J.P. Nagar 2nd Phase, the station is named after the Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple.

Step onto Platform 1, and you’ll be heading north towards Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road, where a quick change can get you onto the Green Line. On Platform 2, the southbound trains will take you directly to Bommasandra, with Jayadeva Hospital as the next stop, where another change will connect you to the Pink Line. 

Perched on the elevated RV Road-Bommasandra Line, this station isn’t just about connectivity. It’s a beacon of accessibility and inclusivity, serving Samrathanam Trust, a nearby prosthetic institute and Mobility India, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with special abilities.

Trial runs for the new Kengeri – Challaghatta section of the line commenced on July 29, 2023. The station officially opened, and scheduled services commenced on October 9, 2023, without a formal inauguration ceremony. However, Prime Minister Mohdi virtually inaugurated the new section of the line on October 20, 2023.
